Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) offers a 2-year post-graduation course in Master of Computer Application (MCA). The second semester of MCA consists of 6 subjects and 3 practicals. The subjects are Theory of Automata & Formal Languages, Object Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Data Structures & Analysis of Algorithms, and Cyber Security (qualifying subject). Each question paper is worth 100 marks and consists of two types of questions: short-answer and long-answer. Backlogs won’t affect your overall performance, and you can clear them in upcoming semesters. Even if you get 5 backlogs in the 2nd semester, you are still eligible to move on to the 3rd.
